Adult Day Services Program Coordinator, Full-Time

Due to expansion and growth, we are currently accepting applications for a full-time Adult Day Services Program Coordinator.   Adult Day Services Program Coordinators are responsible for developing and monitoring the delivery of habilitative and/or vocational activities to individuals served by Pathfinder Village Day Services. Hours are 7:30 am – 3:30 pm Monday-Friday.

A high school or equivalency diploma, basic computer skills and a valid NY State driver’s license are required.  Experience in the OPWDD field is preferred but not required. Pathfinder Village offers a competitive salary with excellent benefits package. Nursing Assistant, Full-Time:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to transporting and accompanying residents on medical trips as assigned, inventorying, ordering and delivering medications, organizing and filing of medical records and insurance documents. This position will report to the Department’s Medical Secretary.   Full Time days, Monday – Friday. Requirements include a clean NY State driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience, a one year certificate from college or technical school or 3 to 6 months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The ability to effectively gather and relay information, read and write correspondence, complete simple math calculations, and the knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software is required.

Maintenance Worker, Full-Time

We are currently accepting applications for a full-time Maintenance Worker to perform tasks as assigned. Experience in electric, plumbing, and general construction is required.

Hours are 7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday-Friday. Must live within 15 miles of Pathfinder Village to cover on-call rotations. Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid NY State driver’s license.

Admissions Recruiter, Full-Time

Help individuals with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities discover educational, recreational, and residential programs at Pathfinder Village in Edmeston, NY.  Pathfinder Village is seeking an Admissions Recruiter to assist with the implementation of recruitment strategies to meet enrollment goals in a variety of short-term and long-term programs.  We are seeking an organized and creative problem-solver who can build and maintain positive relationships with enthusiasm and respect.

The Admissions Recruiter position requires a bachelor’s degree and a valid NYS drivers license. The work schedule includes some evenings and weekends, and travel is also required. DSP, Otsego Academy, Full-Time

Pathfinder Village has a full time opening for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in our post-secondary program., Otsego Academy.  Primary responsibilities are to provide guidance and support to young adults with intellectual disabilities living away from home for the first time.  Duties include supporting informed choice during daily activities, facilitating independence, and providing supervision in and access to a variety of community settings.  Effective communicators who are able to envision others' perspectives are encouraged to apply.  Applicants are required to have a high school or equivalency diploma, valid NYS driver’s license with at 3 years’ of driving experience, and the ability to obtain medication administration certification.  Equal Opportunity Employer.

Overnight Manager, Full-Time

Pathfinder Village's residential staff works with individuals with developmental disabilities to promote independence, inclusion, individuality, and self-determination.  We are currently accepting applications for an Overnight Manager, who will work to support overnight residential staff during the 11 p.m. to 9 a.m. shift.
Duties include managing the schedule and assigning staff duties, supervising direct care staff and completing staffing reports. Candidates will be required to accurately communicate important information to House Managers, Nurses, healthcare providers, and direct care staff regarding residents’ medical needs and activities.
Applicants are required to have completed two years of college education in Human Services, or have one year experience as a Residential Supervisor (with a high school/equivalency diploma), a valid New York State Driver’s License, current Medication Administration Certification, CPR-First Aid training, and must possess basic computer skills. Residential House Manager, Full-Time

Pathfinder Village is currently accepting applications for a Full-Time House Manager. Duties include being responsible for the daily operations of a residential home, providing ongoing support of staff, ensuring resident well-being, implementing and monitoring support plans, managing budget and medication administration.

A high school or equivalency diploma, and a valid NYS driver’s license are required.  Experience in the OPWDD field is preferred.

Adult Day Services Specialists:

Pathfinder Village is currently accepting applications for Adult Day Services Specialists. Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem positions are available.  Responsibilities include providing formal and informal training on all habilitation and vocational activities to individuals served by Pathfinder Village Day Services, and helping the individuals develop and maintain skills. Adult Day Services Specialists must also maintain positive community relationships at all community and activity sites.  Hours are 7:30 am – 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday, for full-time staff, and as assigned by the Adult Day Services Manager for part-time or per diem work.

At least one year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is required; applicants must have a clean NY State driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience.  Experience working in a Day Services setting is preferred.

Primary responsibilities include providing direct care and residential guidance/supports for individuals living with intellectual and other disabilities within an open-access community setting. Additional duties involve advocating and supporting informed choices of individuals within the greater community. Strong record keeping skills, local travel, flexibility, and a commitment to ongoing job training are required.

No prior work experience is required. Competitive wages and excellent benefits are offered.

Primary responsibilities include providing direct care and residential guidance/supports for individuals living with intellectual and other disabilities within an open-access community setting. Additional duties involve advocating and supporting informed choices of individuals within the greater community. Strong record keeping skills, local travel, flexibility, and a commitment to ongoing job training are required. No prior work experience is required.
