Overnight Manager

The Overnight Manager is a Direct Support Professional who works directly with Residential Team Leaders (RTL) to provide leadership and support to residential staff on the 11:00p-9:00a shift. His/her management will ensure the safety, health, satisfaction, and well-being of residents through a person-centered approach to service delivery.  The Overnight Manager reports to the Residential Team Leader. High school diploma, at least one year experience, and valid NYS driver's license required.

 

Administrative Assistant

Pathfinder Village is seeking a detail oriented and organized individual to provide clerical support to the admissions and residential departments.  This is a full time position on a Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. schedule.  This position requires a high school diploma and relevant experience.  Competitive wages and excellent benefits are offered. Part Time Counselor

Pathfinder Village in Edmeston, New York is seeking a part-time licensed counselor to provide individual and group counseling to adults with developmental disabilities in a planned community setting. Time requirement is 6 hours during the week, afternoons and evening hours.

Qualifications: Licensed mental health counselor, psychologist, or licensed clinical social worker, and prior experience with the intellectual/Developmental Disability population.

 

Speech-Language Pathologist, Full-Time

Join a dynamic team in a unique residential school setting! 

Pathfinder Village is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and collaborative Speech Pathologist to foster effective communication skills in students with a variety of developmental disabilities. The Speech Pathologist will:

  • Evaluate students’ communication disorders and make thoughtful recommendations
  • Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
  • Consult with staff and parents to support each student’s communication needs
  • Work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Assess the effectiveness of augmentative communication systems in supporting meaningful interactions and encouraging independence

This position offers a reasonable workload in a beautiful country setting just 16 miles west of Cooperstown.  NYS Certification as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) required.  NYS Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred. Admissions Counselor, Full-Time

Pathfinder Village in Edmeston, NY is seeking an Admissions Counselor to assist with the implementation of recruitment strategies to meet enrollment goals in a variety of short-term and long-term programs.  This individual will work within the admissions department and serve as an ambassador of Pathfinder Village.  We are seeking an organized and creative problem-solver who can build and maintain positive relationships with enthusiasm, respect, and a sincere belief in the mission of Pathfinder Village. 

This position requires a bachelor’s degree and a valid NYS driver's license. The work schedule includes some evenings and weekends, and travel is also required. Direct Support Professionals, Full-Time,
7 p.m. to 7 a.m., ($1 per hour Shift Differential offered):

Pathfinder Village presently has full-time openings for Direct Support Professionals, offering 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. schedules, with a $1 shift differential for the duration of the shift. Primary responsibilities include providing direct care and residential guidance/supports for individuals living with intellectual and other disabilities within an open-access community setting. Additional duties involve advocating and supporting informed choices of individuals within the greater community. Strong record keeping skills, local travel, flexibility, and a commitment to ongoing job training are required.

No prior work experience is required. Competitive wages and excellent benefits are offered.
