The House Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of their designated residential home under the supervision and direction of the Residential Team Leader. His/her management will ensure the safety, health, satisfaction, and well-being of residents. The House Manager will also provide ongoing direct supervision for the Residential Staff within his/her team.
The House Manager is held to a high standard of conduct and professionalism and must represent the organization with the highest level of integrity.
This position reports directly to the Residential Team Leader or Chief Program Officer.
The Overnight Manager is a Direct Support Professional who works directly with Residential Team Leaders (RTL) to provide leadership and support to residential staff on the overnight shift. His/her management will ensure the safety, health, satisfaction and well-being of residents through a person-centered approach to service delivery. Overnight shifts are considered “awake-overnight shifts” and overnight staff are not allowed to sleep at any time while on duty.
The Overnight Manager reports to the Residential Team Leader.
RN Case Manager
The RN Case Manager will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and medical wellbeing of individuals who reside at Pathfinder Village. The RN Case Manager will meet their responsibilities in a manner which promotes best practice, proactive/preventive medicine, independence, inclusion, individuality, productivity, and self-advocacy for all program participants. The RN Case Manager reports to the Director of Health Services.
Carry a caseload consistent with OPWDD guidelines and specific individual needs
Maintain duties as a mandated reporter
Facilitate health care training to empower staff to promote sound practice
Participate in new admissions
Earn 6-10 CEUs per year
Participate in Village sponsored events
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing, Required: Associate's degree in nursing

Otsego Academy Direct Support Professional
Pathfinder Village is accepting applications for Direct Support Professional (DSP) in the Otsego Academy (OA) program. OA Direct Support Professional provide direct care and support our students in their dorm, with classes, learning about independent living skills, and vocational activities.
Position Hours: Sun/Wed - 7am to 7pm, Mon/Tues - 3pm to 11pm
Music and Expressive Arts Specialist
Pathfinder Village is accepting applications for a full-time Music and Expressive Arts Specialist. Job duties include support of enrichment programming, primarily in music and expressive arts through a person-centered approach. Hours include some evenings and weekends.
Qualified individuals must possess a BS or BA, preferably in music, a valid NY State driver’s license, and basic writing and computer skills. Experience in the OPWDD field is preferred but not required. Pathfinder Village provides staff training from on-site clinicians and consultants specializing in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Community Hab Worker
Pathfinder Village is seeking a Community Hab Specialist. A Community Hab Specialist’s focus is to ensure the safety, well-being, and satisfaction of each individual enrolled and assist with day to day tasks based on individuals’ needs when living on their own, often for the first time. This can include teaching basic hygiene skills and management, establishing schedules/routines, teaching cooking skills, providing transportation, assisting with shopping, and maintaining a clean living environment. In this setting the Community Hab Specialist also works with highly confidential information such as banking, medications, hospital records etc. Detailed documentation is required to capture services provided. A high school or equivalency diploma is required, and experience in the OPWDD field preferred. This position requires a valid NYS Driver’s License. Direct Support Professionals
**$1,000 SIGN ON BONUS FOR OVERNIGHT SHIFTS**

Pathfinder Village presently has 12-hour shift openings for Direct Support Professionals. Primary responsibilities include providing direct care and residential guidance/supports for individuals living with intellectual and other disabilities within an open-access community setting. Additional duties involve advocating and supporting informed choices of individuals within the greater community. Strong record keeping skills, local travel, flexibility, and a commitment to ongoing job training are required.
Shift differential and 3 - 4 day work week.

Long-Term Substitute Adaptive Physical Education Teacher
Pathfinder Village is seeking a long-term substitute Adaptive Physical Education (APE) Teacher. At Pathfinder School we strive to promote independence, inclusion, individuality, productivity, and self-determination for our students with special needs.
Anticipated need time frame: to June 2022
Direct instruction for all students at Pathfinder School in individual or group settings
Assess student abilities and performance using standardized tests, teacher created measures, and observation.
- Develop goals for and implement IEP objectives
- Develop appropriate APE activities for all levels of motor development
- Complete progress reports, report cards, IEPs, and special assignments as needed
- Work collaboratively with the Occupational Therapist, Speech and Language Pathologist, Physical Therapist, and classroom special education teachers
- Master’s degree in Physical Education
- Professional certification in Physical Education
- Valid New York State driver’s license
- LTA certification
- Initial certification for Adaptive Physical Education
