Camp Pathfinder: Summer fun with friends!

Over the years many young men and women have been introduced to the Pathfinder Village community through our engaging summer camp experience and many of our campers return year after year.

For many people, summer camp is the first step on the road to independence.

Pathfinder Village is pleased to offer an enriching co-educational summer experience for individuals with Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities -- Camp Pathfinder!

Our campers will all share the traditional camp experience -- exploring the outdoors, expressing themselves through music and movement, making new friends, learning new skills, and "speaking with their own voice" around the campfire circle. All our activities are designed to help the adult camper explore, learn, and grow. See more information on our activities.

Overnight campers will experience a comfortable, home-like setting under the direct supervision of Pathfinder’s caring residential staff. The camp offers a quality transition experience for those who are eager to “try their wings” as adult members of our supportive community.

Camp Pathfinder offers one-week sessions and two-week sessions. Both sessions are open to people with Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities who are 18 years or older, and have a level of physical/emotional health that will allow them to participate in and benefit from camp.
