Giving to Pathfinder Village has never been easier. Gifts are made to the Village Foundation and are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law; to make a gift by check or money order, please print and complete this donation form and mail to: Pathfinder Village Foundation, 3 Chenango Road, Edmeston, NY 13335-2314.
To make a gift by credit card, please use either Network for Good or you may telephone the Foundation Office at (607) 965-8377, ext. 116. We are not able to accept credit card donations through email messages due to security considerations.
Many companies now offer employee matching gift programs or United Way giving campaigns. If you have questions about making a gift to Pathfinder Village Foundation, please contact the Foundation Office by telephone or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Along with cash or credit card gifts, there are other ways to support Pathfinder Village through the Pathfinder Village Foundation. If you would like to make a large or estate gift, it is the policy of the Foundation to recommend you meet with qualified financial and legal advisors. A minimum of $5,000 is required to establish a named fund at Pathfinder Village; the Foundation is in compliance with NYPMIFA rules for the management of its unrestricted, temporarily restricted and permanently restricted assets.
These types of charitable gifts to the Foundation may enable donors to realize tax benefits, while others may provide a life income to the donor/designee. If you are age 70 1/2+ and must receive distributions from an IRA account, you may realize tax savings by making roll over gifts to Pathfinder Village Foundation. Please consult with a financial advisor to learn the latest on Traditional or Roth IRA accounts.
Gifts can be made through a will, trust, or codicil to a will or trust. Bequests may include cash, securities, closely held stock, real estate, or tangible property. Pathfinder Village Foundation can be named as a beneficiary or co-beneficiary on an existing or new policy. Upon your death, the Foundation will receive the proceeds, which may offer tax benefits for your estate.
